This season it seems that it´s all about Ethnic. For me, is one of those trends that I live better in the summer, is more than just fashion, it is a state of mind. Often, when I need to get loose or to chill colourfull and ethnic pieces get me right in the mood (like today, here in Lisbon it´s an awfull weather and I´m wearing a red/oranged sweater to cheer up!). Here I share with you some ethnic pieces that I really like. How about you, do you like this trend?

 

Parece que esta temporada o estilo étnico vem com força. Para mim é uma de aquelas tendências que gosto mais de usar no verão, é mais do que moda, é um estado de espíritu. Normalmente, quando preciso de me relaxar ou de animar uso pelas coridas ou étnicas (como hoje, está um tempo péssimo por Lisboa e vesti uma camisola vermelho-laranja para animar-me um bocadinho!). I always love to discover designers that I di´dn´t use to know about and find out amazing works. That´s what happened to me with Ermano Scervino. His collection is real feminine and kind of reminds me a Dolce&Gabbana meets Cloé. For me, his SS13 collection is just amazing, with pastel shades, lace and chiffon. Wich one is your favourite look?

 

Sempre gostei descobrir designers que desconhecia e encontrar trabalhos realmente giros. Esse foi o caso de Ermano Scervino. A sua colecção é realmente feminina e lembra-me de certa forma a um Dolce&Gabanna misturado com Cloé. Para mim, a sua coloecção SS13 é simplemente linda, em tons pasteis e com misturas de renda e chiffon. Qual é o vosso look favorito?

This past weekend I had the pleasure of enjoying a extrange, but great, winter weather, with losts of sun and warm temperatures. And so it got me thinking about those spring days, everything full of flowers, but not only at the gardens and fields, but also on clothes. For me, is one of those trends that never goes out and always gets me in a good mood. Here are some inspirations, wich one is your favourite?

 

Este fim de semana tive o prazer de desfrutar de um tempo extranho, mas óptimo, com sol e temperaturas mornas. Com o qual começei a pensar naqueles dias de primavera, onde tudo fica cheio de flores, inclusive a roupa. Para mim, é de aquelas tendências que nunca sai de moda e quando visto fico sempre bem disposta. Aqui ficam algumas inspirações, qual é a vossa favorita?

The past few seasons I´ve been laying my eye on each Mango´s new collections and always noticing an evolution and improvement year after year. This SS13 catalogue, besides having great outfits, it counts with the collaboration of the gorgeous Miranda Kerr. Great brand, great looks and great model, can wait to hit the store!

 

Nas últimas colecções tenho estado de olho na Mango, sempre reparando na sua evolução e melhorias ano após ano. Esta coleacção Primavera/Verão13, para além de ter roupas lindas, conta com a colaboração da Miranda Kerr. Uma grande marca, com óptimos looks e com uma mega modelo. Mal posso esperar por ir a loja!

Generally I´m not the biggest fan of DNKY, I like it, but that´s it, but I have to say that I love the SS13 campaign with Cara Delevigne. So colorful and bright, it really transmits energy. 

Normalmente não sou uma grande apreciadora de DKNY, nem gosto nem desgosto. Mas tenho que reconhecer que fiquei apaixonada com a campanha de Primavera/Verão 2013 com a Cara Delevigne. Cheia de brilho e cor, transmitindo energia.

At this momento, one of my favorite trends is definitely the squared pattern, so elegant and irreverent. I was a little tired of "the fashion loops" that bring back trends time time, I needed something new!  You can already notice it at the red carpet, the events and the prémieres all over the world. Do you like this trend?

 

Neste momento uma das minhas tendências favoritas é definitivamente os quadrados, acho super elegante e diferente. Já andava um bocado saturada do "círculo vicioso da moda" onde de x em x tempo voltamos ao mesmo! Inclusive já se fez notar nas passadeiras vermelhas, eventos e prémieres de todo o mundo. E vocês, gostam?

Lately, if you get into a Zara store you will notice right the way that the new collections have all one of the greatest trends for this next season: Black&White outfits. Most of all, there are a lot of stripes, but there are also polka dot combinations (wich I love! Like the 1st dress). Indeed, it is a trend that I like, and I´m not a person who minds to have the same piece as a friend of mine, but I hate to look at a shirt, like the 2nd one of Zara (which I love) and thinking "I´m gonna go on the street and everyone is going to have one", I loose my will to buy it right the way. Oh well, eventhough, I will still look for my dreamy Black&White piece.

 

Últimamente, basta entrar em lojas como a Zara para ver que as novas colecções tem todas uma das maiores tendências para a próxima estação: os conjuntos "Preto e Branco". Há sobretudo conjugações de riscas, mas também destacam-se as bolinhas (que eu adoro! Como o 1ro vestido). É de facto uma tendência da qual gosto muito, e nunca fui de aquelas pessoas que se importa-se com que a amiga tive-se uma peça igual, mas detesto o facto de olhar para uma peça da Zara que adoro e pensar "mas é que vou sair a rua e toda a gente a vai ter!", tira-me logo a vontade de a comprar. Em fim, mesmo assim não deixarei de ir a procura da minha peça "Black&White" de sonho.
