Esta frase resume a perfeição o ponto onde me encontro actualmente na minha vida. Ultimamente sinto-me a vontade com as minhas decições, e cada vez mais dou por mim a importar-me menos com o que os outros pensam delas, e sabem que mais? É uma sensação óptimaaaa!!! E a vocês, já vos aconteceu?

Negative Vs Positive

Está realmente na nossa natureza reparar mais nas coisas negativas do que nas positivas? Já parei a pensar e a mim acontece-me mais do que gostaria. Por outro lado, ao ter a consciência disso, tento mesmo centrar-me nas coisas boas da vida, mas nem sempre é facil. No final de contas, uma mentalidade negativa nunca há de trazer nada positivo certo?

Is it really in our nature to notice more the bad things rather than the good ones? I´ve been thinking about this for a while now and it happens to me more often that I would like to admit. Nevertheless I´m conscious about it and I try to focus on the good things instead but it ain´t always easy. At the end of the day, a negative mind will never bring nothing positive right?

Paciência

Há pessoas que me tiram do sério, e considero-me uma pessoa com bastante paciência, mas há pessoas que realmente precisam de um parzinho de estalos para acordar para vida, há limites para tudo não acham?

There are people that really get to my nerves, and I consider myself a patient person, but there are just some people that need a high-five, in the face, with a chair, there are boundaries for everything right?

Força | Strength

Acho que hoje em dia não é preciso sofrer em silêncio, mas é verdade que os grandes heróis do dia a dia passam completamente desapercebidos, mães com vários empregos precários que chegam a casa estoiradas com um sorriso na boca e que nunca se queixam, os bons médicos dos nossos hospitais, os voluntários, os  miúdos que sofrem de bulling na escola... Sim, há heróis de todo o tipo, e gostaria de ver mais a nossa sociedade (e os nossos meios de comunicação) dando o valor que merecem estas pessoas, não acham?

In my opinion, nowadays there´s no need to suffer in silence, nevertheless, the truth is that there are great heroes among us that are completely unnoticed, like those mum´s with several jobs that arrive exhausted at their homes but always with a smile on their faces and never complain, the great doctors of our countries, volunteers, kids that suffer bulling at school... Yes, there are all kinds of heroes and I would really like to see our society (and our media) giving their right value to these people, don´t you think?

A minha mãe sempre me ensinou que, independentemente de tudo, temos de ser humildes, e não estou a falar da falsa humildade porque simplesmente "é o correcto a fazer" mas sim aquela humildade que vem de ter noção das coisas e de não nos esquecer-mos do passado. Mas há vezes em que temos de ser um bocado egoístas e ter a auto-estima suficiente para não nos deixar-mos pisar por ninguém, sempre com a cabeça alta, mas sem narizes empinados =)

My mother always told me that, no matter what, we must be humble. And I ain´t talking about that kind of fake humble when you do things "only because it´s the correct thing" but we must be humble because we feel it, because we value things and never forget the past. Nevertheless, there are situations when we must be a little selfish and have enough self-esteem to do not let anyone step on us, always with our heads high but never with our noses up =)

Adoro a Audrey Hepburn, sempre amei, e só para reforçar a minha paixão por ela vi o clássico "ferias em roma", o qual simplesmente adorei! Só o final é que me deixou um bocado abanada mas definitivamente amei. E vocês, gostam de ver clássicos de vez em quando? O próximo na minha lista é o "My fair lady" =)

I love Audrey Hepburn, always did, and only to increase my admiration towards her I saw "Roman vacation" the other day, which I simply loved! The end wasn´t what I expected but I definitely loved it! How about you, do you enjoy watching classics? The next one on my list is "my fair lady" =)

LBD

O famoso LBD tem vindo a salvar mulheres do desastre e da vergonha em milhares de ocasiões. Quando é preciso recorrer ao "desenrrascanço" não há nada melhor e mais seguro do que optar por um vestidinho preto. Não falha. É cómodo, praticamente não se suja e acima de tudo (há excepções obviamente!), mantém a elegância e a feminidade. E vocês, o LBD também é o vosso melhor amigo? Já vos salvou de alguma situação?

The famous LBD has been saving women all around the world from disasters and catastrophes on a thousand occasions. When we must "get things done" there´s no better or safers choice rather than a little black dress. You can´t miss it. It´s confortable, it barely gets dirty and above all (of course there are exceptions!), you can still be elegant and ladylike. How about you, is the LBD also your bff? Odeio quando certas pessoas em particular se metem onde não são chamadas, seja por cusquice ou por necessidade de controlo, há uma linha que acho que não se deve cruzar. Aquele cliché de darmos um dedo e agarrarem o braço! É simplesmente desgastante, além de uma falta de respeito.

I hate when people get into another people´s business without been call, either for gossip or just for the need to be in control, there´s a line I think it must not be crossed. That cliche of giving a finger and they pick the hole arm! It´s just frustrating and a total lack of respect.

Não interessa o que as pessoas digam ou pensem (ou até como nos olham), o importante as vezes é mesmo manda-las dar uma bela de uma volta e sentir-nos orgulhosas, independentemente de tudo!

Doesn´t matter what other people think or say (even how they look at us), the most important thing is to ignore them and feel proud of our selfs, no matter what!

Fim De Semana | Weekend

Finalmente vem ahi o fim de semana! Eu tenho de aproveitar ao máximo com a minha familia e bff dado que domingo de manhãzinha vou de viagem de trabalho quase 3 semanas. E vocês, tem planos especias?
