The other day at The Embassy I had the pleasure of the company of my good friend Diogo, and as he has an impecable style I decided to share some pics here with you. Also Some photos of Luis, a boy with a great sense of fashion I cross into the street.

O outro dia no Embassy tive o prazer da companhia do meu bom amigo Diogo, e como ele tem um sentido da moda impecável decidi partilhar umas imagens com voces. Também algumas fotos de Luis, um rapaz com em grande estilo com quem me cruzei na rua.

Unhate

The newest Benetton campaign, called Unhate, takes us back to it´s earliest and famous comercial, know for their originality as well for been outrageous by presenting pictures with politic and religion figures kissing...on the lips! thanks to the wonders of computers. In one hand, there are going to be lots of haters, in the other there are going to be lots of lovers of this add, personally I´m with the lovers, though I understand that some people might look at it as a lack of respect towards some figures, what it´s for sure it´s that people will certainly talk about it. It has had such an impact that the Vatican has already made them retire the Pope´s images with the Cairo Iman. Wanna see why it´s causing such a buzz? Take a look! 

A mais recente campaña da Benetton, chamada "Unhate", leva-nos aos primeiros e famosos anuncios deles, conhecidos tanto pela sua originalidade como pela sua irreverencia, presentando imagens com figuras políticas e religiosas a beijarem-se... na boca! Graças as maravilhas dos computadores. Por um lado estarão os que a odeiam e por outro os que a adoram, pessoalmente sou das que adora, mas consigo perceber que algumas pessoas possam olha-la como uma falta de respeito para certas figuras públicas, o que é certo é que vai dar que falar. Teve tal impacto que o Vaticano já mandou retirar as imagens do Papa com o Imã do Cairo. Querem saber porque tanto barulho? Dem uma espreitadela!

The Embassy

This weekend I went to one of the most emblematic tea rooms in Madrid, The Embassy, which besides having this great and classy atmosphere, had milkshakes and snacks to die for! And of course, after such a heavy lunch we had to walk it off down the Paseo de la Castellana.

Este fim de semana fui a uma dos salões de chã mais emblemáticos de Madrid, o Embassy, que para além de ter um grande ambiente, tinha ums batidos e petiscos de morrer e chorar por mais! E como não podia deixar de ser, depois de uma lanche tão pesado tivemos que caminhar pelo Paseo de la Castellana.

It´s All About a Hug

Cute + Sexy

We tend to feel sexier at summer, but it hasn´t to be that way. Even on the day by day is really nice to wear a cute and sensual piece of underwear to feel good about our selfs. I always heard people saying the same thing I´m telling you (and provably you´ve already heard it before too) until I found out stores like Oysho and Victoria´s Secret that caught my eye, but I also discovered this really cute store from Australia, Gilly Hicks (one of my favorite parfumes is from there too). I loose my mind each time I see their lookbook!

Temos uma clara tendência a sentirnos mais atractivas no verão, mas não tem porque ser assim. Até no dia a dia, vestir uma peça querida e sensual de roupa interior pode ser muito agradável e fazer-nos sentir melhor sobre nós próprias. Sempre ouvi as pessoas dizerem o mesmo que vos estou a contar (e provavelmente também já ouvis-te antes) até que encontrei lojas como a Oysho ou a Victoria´s Secret que me chamaram a atenção, mas também descobri recentemente esta lojinha super querida (e não só!) da Australia, Gilly Hicks (um dos meus perfumes favoritos também é dai). Perco a cabeça cada vez que vejo o lookbook!

Who Said Different = Bad?

I´m one of those girls that likes to get preppy time to time, but I can´t denied that my favorite piece of cloth in the hole world is definitely a nice graphic t-shirt. But some times finding "the one" turns out to be a though task, either because there isn´t noting interesting at the regular stores or because everyone has the same and you want to have an unique piece (of course!), so... how can you get a really nice tee that no one has? Personally, I like to buy online at stores that aren´t available (at least not generally) in my country, like Forever 21, which I´m totally crazy about! These are some of the ones that I´ve been lately thinking to buy, which one would you choose? 

Sou daquelas raparigas que gosta de se arranjar de vez em quando, mas não consigo negar que a minha peça de roupa favorita no mundo inteiro é definitivamente uma boa t-shirt gráfica. Mas as vezes encontrar "a tal" é uma tarefa ardua, ou porque não ha nada interesante nas lojas normais, ou porque toda a gente tem a mesma e tu queres uma peça única (claro!), então... como posso ter uma "tee" mesmo gira e que ninguém tenha? Pessoalmente, gosto de comprar online en lojas que não estão disponíveis (pelo menos não geralmente) no meu pais, como Forever 21, pela qual sou completamente maluca! Estas são algumas das que ultimamente tenho pensado comprar, qual escolherias?

I don´t know why people have the prejudice of thinking that Liverpool is an industrial city, and therefore, not beautiful, then let me tell you they couldn´t be more wrong. The city is full of life, culture and fun! I had a great time thanks to my bff, who show me around town, took me to the Tate museum of modern art (which I completely loved!) and of course, to the best pubs of the city.

Não sei porque as pessoas tem o preconceito de pensar que Liverpool é uma cidade industrial, e que por essa razão não é bonita, mas deixem-me dizer-vos que não podiam estar mais enganadas. A cidade esta cheia de vida, cultura e diversão! Foi giríssimo graças a minha bff, que me mostrou a cidade, levou-me ao Tate museu de arte moderno (o qual amei!) e claro, aos melhores pubs da cidade.
