Lisbon Fashion Week: Miguel Vieira

 

I´ve always said that Miguel Vieira is my favourite portuguese designer, and this collection only reinvindicates that statement. Full of shine and glamour for the womens collection, and always classy with a edgy touch for men. For me, it is simply impossible not to love.

 

Sempre disse que o Miguel Vieira é o meu desenhador português favorito por excelência, e esta colecção é uma reinvindicação desta afirmação. Cheia de brilhos e glamour na colecção feminina, e sempre clássico com uma pontada de irreverência justa na colecção masculina. Para mim, é simplesmente impossível não adorar.

Who hasn´t never feel in love with trouble? Those bad boys that have that magnetism you just can´t scape. Therefore I totally love this song! Definitely surprise, mostly for the Dubstep. Nice move Taylor!

Que é que já não se apaixonou por um "mauzão"? Aqueles "Bad Boys" que tem um magnetismo irresistível e que não dá para escapar. Logo adoro esta música! Fiquei susprendida pela positiva, sobretudo pelo toque de Dubstep. Bem jogado Taylor!

The Shiseido Experience

 

This Fashion Week is all about seen our favourite designers and enjoy all the fashion atmosphere around. But one of the other things I love about this event is when brands spoil us with their best products and advisers, and well, that was the case of Shiseido. This two lovely lady´s provide me and my friend Raquel with samples of their best skin products (the hole package: eye care, face cream and serum), and also let us try theis new lipstick "perfect rouge" (which I loved by the way!), and on top of it, they gave each one of us a free make up session to use when we want to. What else can a girl ask for?

 

As semanas da moda são para vermos em primeira mão os nossos desenhadores favoritos e desfrutar da atmosfera de estilo e moda. Mas uma das coisas que mais gosto deste tipo de eventos é quando as marcas nos mimam, e este foi o caso da Shiseido. Estas duas miúdas super simpáticas deram-nos a minha amiga Raquel e a mim umas amostras dos seus melhores produtos de pele (o pacote inteirinho: contorno de olhos, creme e serum), e deixaram-nos experimentar o novo batom "perfect rouge" (do qual fiquei fã!), mas para completar e tratamento 5 estrelas, ofereceram-nos a cada uma uma maquilhagem gratuíta para usarmos quando quisermos. Que mais se pode pedir?

Lisbon Fashion Week: White Tent

 

I must confess that at first I was totally pist off cause the show started almost with a 2 hour delay. It was one of those times that you think "Oh, it better be worth it!", and thank God it did. It was a pleasant and refreshing surprise for me. The perfect part of it all? The sleeves. Thru all the collection you can see that the big bet was in playing with all different kind of sleeves.For me, it definitely pay off the time spent.

 

Devo confesar que de inicio estava mesmo danada visto que o desfile começou com quase 2 horas de atraso. Foi de aquelas ocasiões em que pensamos "Mais vale que valha a pena!", e graças a Deus valeu. Foi  uma agradável surpresa para mim. A cereja no topo do bolo? As mangas. Toda a colecção centrou-se no jogo e combinação de diferentes tipos de mangas. Para mim, valeu o tempo gasto.

Lisbon Fashion Week: Alexandra Moura

At Alexandra Moura´s presentacion, eventhough there were a great deal of other colors, such as blue, off white and camel, black was the queen of the night. A collection with different fabrics and textures, including leather and velvet. Indeed, a great collection that remained true to the brand´s identity.

Na apresentação da nova colecção da Alexandra Moura, mesmo tendo havido outras cores, como o azul, o off white e o camel, o preto foi o rei da noite. Uma colecção cheia de tecidos e texturas diferentes, incluíndo pele e veludo. Certamente, uma óptima colecção que transmitiu completamente a identidade da marca.

Lisbon Fashion Week: Pedro Pedro

 

Pedro Pedro it´s known to be one of the best actual portuguese fashion designers, and this collection was a perfect statement of that fact. Playing and mixing different kinds of leather and fur and having all kind of fall/winter colors, from black, to grey and camel. Definitely on my top 3 shows of this ModaLisboa edition.

 

Pedro Pedro é conecido por ser uma dos melhores desenhadores portugueses da actualidade, e esta colecção foi uma afirmação desse facto. Dominou a mixtura de diferentes tipos de pele e inclui as cores predominantes do inverno, desde o preto, ao cincento e o camel. Definitivamente está no meu top 3 de melhores desfiles desta edição da ModaLisboa.
