Years after "The September Issue" documentary, wich portraits the edition of the most important volume of the year of the american Vogue magazine, with it´s headmaster, the unique Anna Wintour, comes the newest documentary about the odissei of the ex-director of Vogue France, Carine Roitfeld, on the launch of her new magazine, CR. I haven´t just seen it yet but I´m definitely looking forward for it!

I´ve been waiting so long for this moment! Finally the neoprene is here! I´ve always thought of it as a great material, very original and confortable, always and only if the cut and it´s application is well done. These are some of my favorites, mainly (of course!) the Marc by Marc Jacobs bag. How about you, do you like this trend?

O famoso LBD tem vindo a salvar mulheres do desastre e da vergonha em milhares de ocasiões. Quando é preciso recorrer ao "desenrrascanço" não há nada melhor e mais seguro do que optar por um vestidinho preto. Não falha. É cómodo, praticamente não se suja e acima de tudo (há excepções obviamente!), mantém a elegância e a feminidade. E vocês, o LBD também é o vosso melhor amigo? Já vos salvou de alguma situação?

The famous LBD has been saving women all around the world from disasters and catastrophes on a thousand occasions. When we must "get things done" there´s no better or safers choice rather than a little black dress. You can´t miss it. It´s confortable, it barely gets dirty and above all (of course there are exceptions!), you can still be elegant and ladylike. How about you, is the LBD also your bff? O Outro dia vi este anuncio da cerveja irlandesa Guinness e fiquei arrepiada! Representa tudo aquilo que para mim é bom no marketing: Um excelente insight, uma forte componente engaging, e uma grande conexão com os valores da marca, mantendo um toque de realismo e sem tentar iludir o consumidor. O facto é que a cerveja é um ponto de encontro para muita gente, onde se partilham experiências, histórias e anedotas. Em fim, para mim um anuncio muito bem conseguido, espero que gostem tanto quanto eu!

The other day I saw this ad of the Guinness Irish beer and I even got chills! It stands for everything I think of good in marketing: An excellent insight, a strong engaging component, and a great connection with the brand´s values, keeping it realistic at the same time. The fact is that beer is indeed the meeting point of lots of friends, where they share experiences, stories and jokes. Well, for me it is a great ad and hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Odeio quando certas pessoas em particular se metem onde não são chamadas, seja por cusquice ou por necessidade de controlo, há uma linha que acho que não se deve cruzar. Aquele cliché de darmos um dedo e agarrarem o braço! É simplesmente desgastante, além de uma falta de respeito.

I hate when people get into another people´s business without been call, either for gossip or just for the need to be in control, there´s a line I think it must not be crossed. That cliche of giving a finger and they pick the hole arm! It´s just frustrating and a total lack of respect.

Como Levar a Mala | How to Grab a Bag

Ultimamente parece que as alças das malas são mais uma parte ornamental do que propriamente utilitárias. Desde as passarelles as celebrities como a Victoria Beckham, parece que a nova forma de pegar a mala está mesmo para ficar. Eu pessoalmente gosto de ver, mas acho realmente pouco prático, a excepção das clutchs com fita exterior que aseguram a mão melhor. E vocês que acham? Aderiram a esta nova forma de levar as nossas malinhas?

Lately it seams that the bag straps are only ornamental and no longer used to carry our bags. From the catwalks to the celebrities like Victoria Beckham, this new way to grab the bag it´s here to stay. Personally I like to see it in other people, but I think is quite unpractical, except for the clutches with an exterior band that helps you to grab it better. What do you think? Do you already grab you bags like this?

Workshop de Iniciação a Costura | Atelier VerdeMusgo

O fim de semana passado consegui finalmente riscar da minha lista de coisas a fazer mais um ponto: Aprender a costurar a máquina! Eu e a minha bff fomos ao Atelier Verde Musgo para um curso de iniciação a costura onde aprendemos as noções básicas de como trabalhar com a máquina paso a paso e aprendemos a fazer um saquinho. Simplesmente adorei! Gostei tanto tanto tanto que quero mesmo ver se continuo a aprender e até quem sabe e peço ao Pai Natal uma máquina =) Acabou-se ir a costureira para fazer bainhas hehe

Last weekend I finally got to do one of the things I had on my Bucket List: Learn how to sew on a sewing machine! Me and my bff whent to the Verde Musgo Atelier and totally loved it! We learned the basic notions and we even made a little bag. Just loved it! In fact, I loved it so much that I intend to keep on learning, I might even ask Santa for a machine this next Christmas =)

Ainda podemos dizer que há bom tempo, e como não podia deixar de ser, tive de aproveitar ao máximo o fim de semana passado para ir a praia! Adoro ir ou com uma túnica ou vestidos soltos ou então com um par de calções de ganga com uma t-shirt ou blusa engraçados mas soltos. Adoro esta blusa, pelo tecido, pelo padrão e pela mistura improvável do verde agua e do cor de rosa shock! Que acham?

It seams the weather stills gracing us with sun and warm, so as it had to be, I had to make the most of it and go to the beach! I love wearing a little dress or a pair of jean shorts with a nice t-shirt or blouse, on this case, I had to share with you this blouse I love, cause it´s loose and comfortable, but also because of it´s print and the unlikely mix of green and pink colors! I´ve always loved leather jackets, but I´ve never really learn to like that kind of material on other pieces, until I saw this dresses at Asos!
