Além de terem todos os produtos da marca para venda, dispõe de varios serviços que pormetem fazer as delicias das mulheres portuguesas: manicure, testes de pele, maquilhagem e styling, que mais se pode pedir? Eu já experimentei o serviço de styling da mão do Rui, deixou-me como uma autêntica princesa! E vocês já deram lá um salto?

Have you hear about the new L´Oreal Beauty Boutique in Chiado (Lisbon)? The newest L´Oreal Paris store is the first of it´s generation, one of a kind. Besides having all the brand products for sale, they also have several services that promise to pamper us: manicure, skin tests, make up and styling, what else? I´ve already tried the styling by the hand of Rui, he make me look like a princess!

Adoro esta saia da Carven!!! É simplesmente linda!!! (obviamente para mim só compraria uma coisa parecida sem ser pele de verdade, morreria da tristeza e podem imaginar qual o primeiro filme que me vem a cabeça - Bambi-). Acho uma peça e um animal print refrescante no meio de tanto leopardo, e outro tipo de manchas de animais que já estão um bocado batidas (não que deixe de gostar das outras, mas em fim, é sempre bom ver qualquer coisa de novo). Gostam da nova menina dos meus olhos?

I love this Carven Skirt!!! It´s just gorgeous!!! (obviously I just would buy it for me if it wasn´t real leather, I would die of sadness, you can imagine what´s the first movie that comes thru my mind - Bambi-). I think of it as a piece and print that comes as a refreshment in the middle of all the leopard and other kind of animal spots that are already too used (not that I stop liking the other ones, is just that is nice to see something new). Do you like my new love?

Acho que hoje em dia não é preciso sofrer em silêncio, mas é verdade que os grandes heróis do dia a dia passam completamente desapercebidos, mães com vários empregos precários que chegam a casa estoiradas com um sorriso na boca e que nunca se queixam, os bons médicos dos nossos hospitais, os voluntários, os  miúdos que sofrem de bulling na escola... Sim, há heróis de todo o tipo, e gostaria de ver mais a nossa sociedade (e os nossos meios de comunicação) dando o valor que merecem estas pessoas, não acham?

In my opinion, nowadays there´s no need to suffer in silence, nevertheless, the truth is that there are great heroes among us that are completely unnoticed, like those mum´s with several jobs that arrive exhausted at their homes but always with a smile on their faces and never complain, the great doctors of our countries, volunteers, kids that suffer bulling at school... Yes, there are all kinds of heroes and I would really like to see our society (and our media) giving their right value to these people, don´t you think?

As the famous quote from one of my favourite tv shows says (Game of Thrones!) "Brace yourselfs, winter is comming!". Meaning that I have to renew my dear boots collection, and if I could I would have all of these! Aren´t they beautiful? Basta olhar um par de lojas e as principais marcas que salta logo a vista uma tendência: as manchas brancas e pretas. Estas aparecem sobretudo com manchas XL e em todo tipo de tecidos, destacando o pony. Na minha opinião depende muito da mancha e da peça para resultar bem. Aqui deixo-vos algumas inspirações. E vocês, que acham desta tendência?

All you have to do is look around at some stores and at the main brands to realize one main trend: the black and white spots. These are mainly in XL sizes and in all kind of fabrics, but the pony comes at the most relevant of them all. In my opinion it depends a lot on the type of spot and on the piece to work out. Sempre achei os sapatos de ponta muito elegantes mas nunca me achei o suficiente "crescida" para os vestir. Lembro-me de olhar a minha mãe nos 90 a usa-los super elegante e pensar que um dia eu iria vesti-los como ela. Bem, ao que parece o dia não só chegou como parece não ter fim! E não é que este ano estão em todas partes? Por um lado fico contente porque há imensa variedade por onde escolher, por outro lado odeio gostar de uma coisa e depois ver tanto na rua que fico cansada e não consigo usar (como com o skorts da Zara!). Em fim, toca aproveitar em quanto posso =) Aqui deixo-vos algumas selecções e inspirações, e vocês, já costumavam usar este estilo de sapatos?

I´ve always thought that the pointed toe stilleto´s were really elegant but I didn´t see my self "grown" enough to wear them. I remember looking at my mother with them on the 90´s and thinking of how elegant she looked and how I would be able to used the one day. Well, that day has come and it seams that ain´t going to end any time soon! But this year they´re everywhere I look. On one hand I´m really glad cause there´re lots of options to pick, on the other hand, I hate to like something that I´ll see on the streets everywhere and then I get tired o it (like it happened with Zara´s skorts!). As I have already told you many times, I love a good guerrilha marketing action, and this one from Ford to promote it´s new door protection system is just amazing! Nothing better than surprising people on real life to test and prove how an innovative gadget works.

Um Boost De Energia | Jive

                      

Nem sempre vejo o "So you think you can dance", mas as vezes tem danças tão inspiradoras ou, como neste caso, danças que nos dão um "boost" de energia! Depois de esta dança só me apetece dançar, saltar e correr, sinto-me revigorada (melhor que um Red Bull! hehe). Espero que gostem =)

I do not always see the "So you think you can dance" show, but sometimes they have such inspiring dances or, in this case, dances that give us an energy boost! After watching this clip I just feel like dancing, jumping and running, I feel totally revigorate (better than a Red Bull! hehe). Hope you guys like it =)

A minha mãe sempre me ensinou que, independentemente de tudo, temos de ser humildes, e não estou a falar da falsa humildade porque simplesmente "é o correcto a fazer" mas sim aquela humildade que vem de ter noção das coisas e de não nos esquecer-mos do passado. Mas há vezes em que temos de ser um bocado egoístas e ter a auto-estima suficiente para não nos deixar-mos pisar por ninguém, sempre com a cabeça alta, mas sem narizes empinados =)

My mother always told me that, no matter what, we must be humble. And I ain´t talking about that kind of fake humble when you do things "only because it´s the correct thing" but we must be humble because we feel it, because we value things and never forget the past. Nevertheless, there are situations when we must be a little selfish and have enough self-esteem to do not let anyone step on us, always with our heads high but never with our noses up =)

What to say about Ricardo Preto´s fashion show? I Just loved it! Dresses with amazing prints for this next Spring-Summer, and also light fabrics, perfect for this next season. O desfile do Ricardo Dourado surpreendeu-me pela positiva. Adorei os tecidos, contando com metalizados, pasteis e neopreno, e claro, o grande ponto a favor para mim foi o trabalho em laser cut e o jogo de comprimentos e desníveis das peças. E vocês, o que é que acharam?

Ricardo Dourado´s fashion show really surprised me on the right way. I just love the fabrics, with metal, pastels and neoprene, and of course, what made a big difference for me was the laser cut work and the length differences in some pieces. How about you, did you like it?

Os Burgueses | ModaLisboa

Se há um desfile no qual adorei a colecção na ModaLisboa foi a de Os Burgueses. Cheia de estampados giríssimos e diferentes mas super comerciais! Comprava tudo tudo tudo para vestir para o próximo verão =) O único ponto negativo? A organização (a qual calculo que não seja culpa dos designers). O lugar um escenário perfeito mas completamente inapto para ter as pessoas todas que tinham convites e acreditações, sendo bastante desconfortável. Em fim, eu fico com o lado positivo de uma colecção maravilhosa!

If there was a collection that I loved at Lisbon Fashion Week was the one from Os Burgueses. It was full of great and different prints, but still commercial! I would buy absolutely everything for next summer =) The only "con"? The organization (I guess it wasn´t the designers fault). The place was a perfect scenario but completely inadequate to fit all the people that had invitation, so it was a really uncomfortable situation. Oh well, I´ll just stick to the positive side, which is that wonderful collection!
